Trio of Antique Botanical Rose Prints: Austrian Briar, Moss Rose & Baroness Rothschild
This exquisite set of three antique botanical prints features stunning illustrations of roses: "Austrian Briar" (Rosa Lutea var. punicea), "Moss Rose" (Rosa Centifolia var. muscosa), and "Baroness Rothschild" (Hybrid Perpetual). These detailed lithographs capture the timeless beauty and diversity of roses, each rendered in vibrant, naturalistic colors that highlight their unique textures and botanical characteristics.
The Austrian Briar boasts bright red and yellow blooms, a charming representation of this hardy and colorful species. The Moss Rose, beloved for its richly hued petals and mossy stems, exudes vintage romance. Finally, the elegant Baroness Rothschild, a hybrid perpetual rose, presents delicate white blossoms tinged with soft yellow hues, a true symbol of refinement and grace.
These prints are not only aesthetically captivating but also historically significant as a testament to the artistry of botanical illustration. They will add a timeless charm to any room, whether in a home, office, or gallery setting.
Condition Summary: Prints are in very good vintage condition with minor age-related patina that enhances their charm. Borders show minimal wear. Ready to frame.
